Background
VanDercreek Consulting began in 2002 with a focus on messaging, security, and systems management implementations in large enterprise environments. These clients included market leaders in the credit services, diversified utilities, internet service providers, semiconductor equipment manufacturing, and telecommunication industries. These projects required of our Consultants a depth of knowledge, utilization of standards, adherence to regulations, and an ability to lead "matrixed" technical teams. These efforts resulted in increased productivity, decreased cost, reduced risk, or other earned value to the client.

Mission
This year VanDercreek Consulting is undertaking an evolutionary change. Our focus has shifted to addressing the needs of the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) yet still providing the large enterprise results. Through adapting large enterprise processes and methodologies for SME requirements, implementation of technology produces predicable, measurable, and lasting results.

Delivery
For example, our client might have a business objective to increase productivity and responsiveness through remote access to corporate data and applications. Our approach begins with a project plan and solution design crafted from the business requirements that addressed the people, processes, and tools needed for or affected by attaining this objective. In this case, the Project Management Institute's PMBOK standard ensures successful planning, execution, and transition of the project while aspects of the Office of Government Commerce's Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) standard facilitate a holistic design and enduring solution.
